Senator Obinna Ogba of Ebonyi state on Saturday said for equity and justice, the presidential ticket of the PDP should be zoned to the south especially the South East.
Ogba who said though he believes in party supremacy noted that whatever the party decision may be, will be adhered to.
According to him: ” On the presidential ticket, we from the South and especially South East are praying that the presidency should be zone to us. But as loyal party members, we have to wait for the party’s decision because the party is supreme.
“At the end of this convention, we expect a very strong and united political party.

“This convention will provide our party another opportunity for other political parties to join us. We have not even started. You can see that people like Mimiko and Dele Momodu are already in. After the convention, like the governor of Adamawa, Fintiri said, a lot of people from other parties including the APC will be joining us.
“The governor left the party and he left alone. And I can assure you that nobody joins him from PDP to APC. And the party remains strong in Ebonyi state. And I can assure you that with time when he is tired from his wilderness, he will return back. Because he will not see anything from where he has gone to”, he noted.
