An Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, ordered that John George, 18, who pleaded guilty to stealing an air condition worth N180,000 be remanded pending sentencing.

Magistrate T. A. Shotobi adjourned the case until March. 10, for sentencing.

Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Insp Christian Okonofua told the court that the teenager committed the offense on Feb. 16 at about 2 a.m. at no 8, Toyin Hassan street, Benson area of Ikorodu, Lagos State.

Okonofua said that the defendant entered a residence and stole a Dual–hose air conditioner belonging to Mr. Femi Solanke.

The offense, he said, contravenes the provisions of sections 380(2) and 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
