Senator representing Anambra North senatorial district of Anambra State in the National Assembly, Senator Stella Oduah has said that it will amount to a self-deceit for anyone to say that President Muhammadu Buhari, and, APC do not mean well for the southeast” geo-political zone of the country.
Oduah also declared that she dumped the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the All Progressives Congress, (APC) led federal government in order to attract dividends of democracy for people of her constituent and the entire state.
Senator Oduah stated this when she met with APC executive committee in Anambra state at the party secretariat in Awka the state capital.
She explained that she decided to leave the PDP for the APC because her experience had shown that one cannot do much for the people of her constituency as a member of the opposition party.
Represented by her political support group led by Mrs. Amaka Ononuju, a lawyer, Senator Oduah praised President Buhari for the level of ” infrastructural developments his administration had executed in the South East, adding that “the record of the many infrastructural developments done in the South East by the APC led federal government of President Muhammadu Buhari is there for anyone to see”.
She promised that with her joining APC, she would henceforth be within the power circles where decisions are taken on the development of the country, and, assured that the development would engender aggressive development in her senatorial zone.
Oduah further pledged to deliver massive votes in her senatorial district during the forthcoming November 6th governorship election in Anambra State to the APC, and, its candidate, Senator Andy Uba.
A former lawmaker in the House of Representatives for Ogbaru federal constituency, Hon. Victor Afam Ogene described Senator Oduah’s entry into APC as a huge boost to the party’s chances of victory in the governorship poll.
Chairman of APC in the state, Chief Basil Ejidike lauded Senator Oduah’s political sagacity, capacity, and, expressed optimism that her joining the party would be an added advantage to the party’s victory in the governorship contest.

Ejidike urged the people to join hands together and work hard to ensure the APC’s victory and the emergence of Senator Andy Uba as governor to occupy the Agu Awka Government House in the state.
He noted that both the PDP and APGA had presided over the affairs of the state for the past 16 years and failed woefully but assured that the APC led government under Senator Andy Uba would not let the people down rather wipes off the years of locust inflicted upon the citizens with good tidings towards making them smile again.
