COVID19: BUA Foundation Donates Ambulances, 50,000 Face Masks To Bauchi Government

Bua Foundation has donated 3 equipped ambulances and fifty thousand face masks to Bauchi state government as part of its support in tackling the spread of the virus in the state.

Presenting the items to Governor Bala Mohammed on Monday at the Government House, Bauchi, the Chairman of the Foundation, Alhaji Abdussamad Isyaka Rabiu said the gesture is to support the state government in curtailing the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

Abdussamad Isyaka Rabiu acknowledged the remarkable achievements of Governor Bala Mohammed in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic and pledged continued support of the foundation in order to achieve the desired objectives.

“Your Excellency, the Bua foundation,  commended your effort in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic. You have done remarkable achievements in tackling the spread of the novel virus.”

“Your Excellency, the foundation will continue to support governments and other institutions in fighting the pandemic. We have donated items worth over 7 billion naira in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.

The Chairman of the foundation who was represented by Dr Aliyu Idi Hong , one time minister of state for health ,  thanked the state government for declaring interest to work with the foundation.

Governor Bala Mohammed who handed over the donated items to the state’s COVID-19 Task Force,  directed for their judicious utilisation.

The governor said his administration is ready for partnership with the foundation and thanked members of CACOVID-19 for their outstanding contributions towards the fight against COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.

“On behalf of the government and people of Bauchi state, I wish to show our deepest appreciation to my very good friend Alhaji for this very good donation and other humanitarian support to Bauchi state.”

“We still need this types of this items, this will show to the people that COVID-19 pandemic is not yet over.”
