Stakeholders from the Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (Ikwerre Local Govt) have declared their support for the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, over the political crisis in the state.
The PDP leaders, in a communique issued after their meeting on Monday and signed by over 28 of them, described the allegations levelled against Wike as mischievous.
The stakeholders condemned the bomb attack on the hallowed chambers of the Rivers State Assembly.
The PDP leaders also endorsed all the resolutions of the House of Assembly led by Speaker Martins Amaewhule.

“We stand firm with our highly respected and indefatigable leader Chief Wike.
“We condemn in strong terms the barbaric and cowardly act of arson on the hallowed chambers of the Rivers State House of Assembly on October 30,” the communique read in part.
