Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa has approved the dissolution of the management board of Adamawa United Football Club.
This is contained in a statement by Mr. Humwashi Wonosikou, Press Secretary to the governor on Tuesday in Yola.
Fintiri commended the management for working hard to move the club to where it is today.
He said that the dissolution was to allow fresh blood and the latest techniques as well as reinvigorate and restore the lost glory of the club.
“The state government will not allow the club to go down but will ensure it consolidates on the gains so far.” Fintiri was quoted as saying in the statement.

The governor thanked the management team for accepting to serve in that capacity and contribute to the growth of the sport in the state,
The statement said that the dissolution was with immediate effect and directed the affected officials to hand over the government’s property and documents to the state Ministry of Sports.(NAN)
