Nigerian singer, Davido and his fiancée Chioma Rowland have just lost their child, Ifeanyi Adeleke. The three-year-old reportedly died yesterday.

It was gathered that the young Adeleke drowned in a pool at the family residence.

A source close to the family stated: “The boy was inside water for too long and they pulled him out and rushed him to the hospital, the family source said under anonymity to wait an official statement.

He was confirmed dead yesterday’s evening at a private hospital in Lagos. Prior to Ifeanyi’s death, Davido
earlier yesterday was spotted teaching him how to swim. The music star carried Ifeanyi around in the pool as
the energetic boy continued to flap his legs.

Davido who was obviously impressed by his son’s performance was heard commenting on how he was a fast
learner. He said: “This one go learn quick”.

It would be recalled Davido and Chioma’s loss is coming years after Nigerian singer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj and wife Lineo Didi lost their first child after a drowning incident in
2018.
