Business magnate and politician, Ben Murray Bruce has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to declare a State of Economic Emergency to tackle the fuel subsidy issue bedevilling the country.
Bruce made this known in a series of tweet on Thursday.
“President Buhari must declare a State of Economic Emergency to tackle the fuel subsidy issue lest the rich and poor will all die together. Nigeria is bleeding! You cannot work for a modern government in the 21st century if you have no imagination.

He also urged candidates of the three major political parties, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to work with him to resolve the various issues facing the country.
“Nigeria will not survive 12 months of this horrible hardship. I suggest the leaders of the three main political parties forget politics and work with me to fix this problem.
“We cannot keep losing Five Trillion Naira annually. I am able and willing, and I volunteer myself to lead the team to deregulate our petroleum sector. I will execute this flawlessly such that no Nigerian will be on the street protesting.” he tweeted.
