Dele Odule recounts experience of losing his first child, impact

Veteran actor, Dele Odule, has described the death of his first child as the saddest moment of his life.

The actor told his junior colleague Kunle Afod, in a recent interview, that his son’s death devastated him and almost drove him into depression, especially when he thought of the circumstances surrounding the child’s birth.

Praying never to experience such a painful loss again, the movie star revealed that he has accepted the tragedy as the will of God.

“The saddest moment of my life was when I was called that my first child died. It was very hard on me.

“It was hard because of the situation faced during the child’s birth, but no one can question God’s authority. It was so bad that I don’t pray for it anymore,” he said.
