Former Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara has been tongue lashed by his constituents for misleading Bauchi citizens with his utterances against the incumbent governor Bala Mohammed.

The Constituents who were reacting to video clip made by Dogara on 13th March when he said they should vote APC described the former Speaker speaker as an ingrate.

The constituents under the auspices of ‘Concerned Zaar and other Ethnic groups of Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro Local Government Areas’,  alleged that Dogara spoke dishonorably, when he called on the good people of Bauchi state to vote for Air Marshall Baba Sadique Abubakar (Rtd) against Governor Mohammed.

Barrister Kefas Magaji who spoke on behalf of the constituents during a Press conference at the NUJ, said Dogara had no moral right to challenge the governor because he is a selfish leader who is after his personal interests.

He cautioned the APC Gubernatorial candidate to be careful with Dogara as he no longer has a support base. He described Dogara as a political liability hunting for money everywhere and will not add value to his campaign.

He further explained that Dogara failed woefully in his polling unit and he will not deliver anything as he is with him to collect his money.

He assured governor Bala Mohammed that ” We the Zaar and other Ethnic groups in Bogoro and Tafawa Balewa LGAs are truly satisfied with the Performance of our amiable Governor in the last four years and are prepared to vote him again en mass this coming Saturday the 18th March 2023″.
