Edo State Deputy Governor, Phillip Shaibu, on Monday, staged a walk-out of an event after his media aides, including security operatives, were refused entry.
The event, the 60th anniversary of the Midwest referendum, was organised by the Edo state government.
In a video sighted by ThisNigeria, Shaibu was seen speaking to a security official to allow his aides to go in with him.
When the security official didn’t bulge, the deputy governor turned back.

Godwin Obaseki, the governor of Edo and his deputy, Shaibu have been at loggerheads over over who succeeds Obaseki.
The governor accused Shaibu of attempting to overthrow him.
It was also rumoured that the governor had made plans to impeach his deputy governor.
