Easiest way to go mental is to see the kind of money you never bargain for – Dele Momodu

Chief Dele Momodu, publisher, businessman, and motivational speaker has said that the easiest way to make a man mad is to see the kind of money he has never seen before.

The publisher said this as he reminisced about his encounter with one of Nigeria’s businessmen, publishers, and politicians, the Aare Ona Kankafo XIV of Yorubaland, late Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, also known as M. K. O. Abiola in London.

Dele Momodu, who was having a conversation with Senator Dino Melaye, the dancing senator, Mr. Ademola Adeleke, and others, said that he met MKO in 1991 in London and he gave some money.

He went on to say that ‘God punish poverty’ … and that MKO gave him four thousand pounds and opened two accounts for him in London.

He said after he was giving the money he was mad that rather than take the elevator down the apartment he ran back and forth on the staircase looking for the door… saying ‘the easiest way to go mental is to see the kind of money you never bargain for’.

He also said that MKO will be the center of attraction if some of the richest men today are seated with him and that Nigeria lost a man.
