
The Immigration Officers’ Wives Association (IMMOWA) Zone “A” Ikeja Lagos, as part of its mandate to impact society positively, on Monday presented items to orphanages and widows’ homes in Abeokuta, Ogun.
The Zonal Chairperson of IMMOWA, Zone ” A” Ikeja, Lagos, Mrs. Bola Osisanya, during the visits, reiterated the association’s commitment to reaching out to the vulnerable.
She said that the gesture exemplified the love behind the death of Jesus Christ and Ramadan.
The items donated include foodstuffs, footwear, drugs, drinks, education materials, beverages, toiletries, and household items.
IMMOWA Zone “A ” comprises immigration offices’ wives from Idiroko Seme, Ogun, Lagos Seaport and Marine, Lagos passport office, border patrol chapters, and Zonal headquarters.
Osisanya, who is the coordinator of all the chapters and Zonal headquarters, admonished the women to radiate love to one another.

She said,” The IMMOWA of today is an epitome of love, there is no allowance for fear.
“God has given us the grace to impart love and remember the needy appropriately.”
At the visit to Yemisi Alogi Orphanage and Children Home (YAOCH), Osisanya appreciated the management and prayed that the children would grow in understanding.
She released foodstuffs, footwear, drugs, drinks, educational materials, and household materials among others to the orphans.

The Director of YAOCH, Mr. Tobi Emmanuel, appreciated the association and craved more support for the home.
Speaking at Gideon Orphanage and Home for Young Widows, Osisanya appreciated the humanitarian services rendered towards the orphans and young widows.
She released drugs, foodstuffs, footwear, drinks, beverages, toiletries, and household items, among others to the children and widows.
The Manager of Gideon Orphanage and Home for Young Widows, Mr. Tobi Apata, commended IMMOWA for spending Easter Monday with the children and widows.

He urged the association not to relent on its welfare plans for the needy in the country.
IMMOWA was established in 2009 as the umbrella body to promote cooperation among members and impact society positively.
