The two recent explosions in Kabba, Kogi state is causing palpable fears in the neighboring Ondo Communities including Ajowa, Akunu, IkakumoIgarashii, and Eriti shared boundaries with the confluence State.
Security reports revealed that the local vigilante groups, hunters, and residents are now more serious with security matters.
According to the source, whatever happens in Kabba might have a spill-over effect in Akokoland of Ondo state because of its proximity if care is not taken.
A prominent traditional ruler, Akala of Ikaram Akoko, Oba Andrew Momodu said the recent parley with monarchs from the kogi state was part of strategies to fix up insecurity between the two states of Ondo and Kogi.
The monarch hailed the unrelenting efforts of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and all security agents in Ondo state for making it one of the peaceful states in Nigeria.

In a similar vein the regent of Igashi Akoko, Princess Mojirade Ipinlaye said security is everybody’s business hence all hands must be on deck to have a well-secured community.
She condemned the recent vandalization of electricity transformers by hoodlums in some parts of Akokoland.
