EFCC arrests Governor Ganduje’s wife

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Hafsat Ganduje, wife of the Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje.

According to Premium Times, Hafsat was picked up by the anti-corruption agency following a fraud case reported by her son, Abdulazeez.

Abdulazeez had petitioned the EFCC to investigate his mother over a bribery and land fraud case.

It was gathered that she failed to honour the anti-graft agency’s invitation sent to her on September 13.

Recall that Hafsat had travelled to London to attend her son’s graduation, thus shunning the agency’s invitation.
