The president has sent a condolence message to Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, over the loss of his mother, Mrs Abigail Makinde.
The president’s condolence message was detailed in a statement by the president’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, on Thursday.
Buhari consoled with friends, family and associates of the matriarch saying that her testimony of love and kind-heartedness, particularly her warmth to the poor and less privilege will be sorely missed.
He urged friends and family to find solace in the good works of the late Mrs Abigail who was God-fearing, loved all and worked hard.
He prayed that God would receive the soul of the departed and comfort the family.
