Men of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission(EFCC) have arrested some polling agents who were buying votes in Muslim Grammar School Polling Unit in Ado-Ekiti and also in another polling unit in Ikere-Ekiti.
They were apprehended while exchanging hands with Voters shortly after casting their votes for a particular political party.
Also, there was a heavy fight between Party Agents at the polling unit of Ex-Ekiti state Governor, Ayodele Fayose.
An eyewitness said the fight broke out over ‘queuing’ and both agents wasted no time in exchanging heavy Punches.
The Ekiti state Gubernatorial Elections is currently ongoing and has so far been a peaceful exercise. Candidates of the two front-line parties, APC and PDP have since voted.
Oddi polling unit in Ise-Ekiti, there was a report of snatching of ballot boxes.it also happened at Ado-Ekiti ward 10, where aggrieved party supporters tore many thump printed ballot papers.
