The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo has been released by the Economics and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

According to reports , Oluomo was granted an administrative bail on Friday on a condition that he returns with both the assembly clerk and the account on Monday September 5th.

ThisNigeria had reported that Oluomo was arrested on Thursday at the Muritala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja, Lagos state.

It was gathered that the speaker was arrested following alleged offences bordering on financial crimes.
