Public and private schools in Ekiti are to resume academic activities for the third term 2021/2022 session on May 9, the state government has announced.
Dr. Folakemi Olomojobi, the Permanent Secretary, of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, gave the directive in a circular made available to journalists on Wednesday in Ado-Ekiti.
The circular signed by the Director of Schools in the ministry, Mr. Remi Ajayi, quoted Olomojobi as saying the postponement followed the public holidays declared by the federal government to commemorate Worker’s Day and Eid-el Fitr.
