El-Rufai mocks Peter Obi’s supporters over planned two million march in Kaduna

The Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai has mocked the supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi over their planned two million march in the state.

Responding to a Twitter user, @zarmaomar who tweeted #KadunaTwoMillionMarchforPeterObi, El-Rufai tweeted that Obi’s supporters will not get up to 200 residents on the streets for the proposed march.

“In Kaduna? Not Kaduna Twitter? – I hope you get Two Hundred persons on the streets, including those ‘imports’ that can’t open their shops on Mondays, and came on overnight bus last night!! I jus’ dey laff, wallahi tallahi!! – @KadunaResident,” the governor tweeted.

Reacting to El-Rufai’s tweet, a Twitter user @arizzoto1101 wrote: “Look at what a governor is writing? Very insensitive. Your ha8 for Igbos will d3stroy you and all that you hold dear. Why are you afraid? Yet you want to come to the east to campaign right?”

@ib_y22 tweeted: “When we said it, they all said we are not saying the right thing. Now, the owner of the state has spoken. Let’s see how it goes.”

@sammy184 tweeted: “My oga at the top, this is a low one from a whole state governor. By ‘imports’ are you allegedly telling us what you did to bring in mercenaries from Mali,Chad,Niger who have been killing people in Southern Kaduna? Which you confirmed paying them off?”

@dammie35 tweeted: “Wait wait , is this not a sitting governor ? Like his real account ? Lord have mercy.”
