The youthful wing, a pressure group of young lawmakers under the aegis of YOUNG PARLIAMENTARIANS FORUM OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY has demanded an urgent address to the nation on the current crisis following the #Endsars protest which has resulted to alleged killings and destruction of properties by President Muhamadu Buhari
They are also demanding that the leadership of the National Assembly , as a matter of urgency convene an emergency session to discuss the alleged killings of protesters and as well launch an investigative public hearing on the loss of lives and hang rights violation resulting from police brutality nationwide
The group which addressed the media Thursday in Abuja, expressed concern over what it described as unpleasant developments across major cities in the country where young persons, especially those that protested peacefully at the Lekki toll gate area were allegedly killed.
Chairman of the Forum, Honorable Kabir Takura who led Karu Simon Elisha and other members to address the media condemned the extra judicial killings and explained further that it was unacceptable.
