Tragedy struck on Wednesday as a commercial vehicle (Danfo) carrying several passengers crashed on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos.
The development was made known by a X user, identified as Kamsi, who said a female passenger was thrown out of the bus and into the lagoon due to the accident.
Kamsi, in the 1:18 minutes-long video, said several passengers were injured and have been rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Although details of the accident are still sketchy as of the time of filing this report, videos of the incident showed passengers with injuries.
Nifemi Oguntoye, in a post on X, said, “The Federal Road Safety Corps has now employed local divers to search for two persons, male and female, still under the water.”
