Amnesty International has urged the Lagos State Police to stop arresting protesters at the #EndSARS memorial protest holding at the Lekki Toll Gate.
Security operatives positioned at the venue have arrested some protesters, including a journalist with Legit TV simply identified as Abimbola.
According to reports, the arrested protesters were unable to provide means of identification.

The Police also applied the use of force to disperse the protesters gathered peacefully at the toll plaza.
Reacting to the situation, Amnesty tweeted: “Lagos: stop arresting protesters. Lagos: stop arresting protesters. Lagos: stop arresting protesters. Lagos: stop arresting protesters. Lagos: stop arresting protesters.”
