It has been gathered that in the early hours of the morning, an explosion rocked a gas station in Baruwa area of Lagos state.
The explosion has destroyed many properties but no casualties have been reported.
According to the Director-General of the Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA), Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, the explosion occurred around 6 am.
In a tweet, LASEMA says, “Gas station currently on fire in Baruwa area of Lagos. Explosion occurred around 6am. The agency has activated our emergency response plan,” it said.
