Eze dreams EPL move

By Francis Ajuonuma
FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk of Belarus midfielder, Vincent Eze is not ruling out any offer to play in the English Premier League in the future.

Eze, who is enjoying his football with the FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk after helping the club win the Belarusian League this season believes that the EPL is any player dream as is one of the best leagues in the world where most players want to showcase their skills.

The former FK Cukaricki of Serbia player disagrees with the insinuation that the league in Eastern Europe is not as tough as the leagues in Western Europe insisting that the Belarusian league is also as competitive as other European league and has made him a better player.

“Every football player will want the best for himself which I think is playing in EPL; one of the top leagues and representing your country, why not, if I have the opportunity definitely is a bigger league with more clamour, bigger money and if I get such opportunity to play in England why not,” he said.

“Yes, I’ve been asked a lot of questions about the league in Belarus. People tend to see the Belarusian league as a lesser league but that’s not true. When you participate in this league you will find out that is very strong. I played in Serbia for three years, so many people will rate Serbia ahead of Belarus but trust me, Belarus league in terms of organisation and money is not poor,” he said.

“Well, it was very, very interesting. We became champion six games before the end of the league, for me It was a wide experience kind of, because I’ve never been a champion, so it was a plus in my career and I’m really excited with the feat,” he added.
