Farouk Yarma Hails NFF Decision to Appoint Eguavoen as Technical Director

Former Commissioner for Youth development in Gombe state and ex-boss of Gombe state sports commission Mallam Farouk Yarma has described the decision by the Nigeria Football Federation NFF to appoint ex Super Eagles coach Austin Eguavoen as the new Technical Director as well deserved and commendable.
“I received with delight the news of the appointment of Coach Austin Eguavoen as Technical Director of Nigeria Football Federation. This is one choice by the football ruling house that gladdens the heart of every football stakeholder in the country.
I would like to congratulate my brother and friend Coach Austin Eguavoen for achieving this career milestone. The appointment is a case of a round peg into a round hole.
Coach Austin Eguavoen is respected for his humble nature, he is a complete gentleman that thrives on according respect to everyone. When we worked with him in Gombe United he exhibited his inherent modesty and he never disrespect anyone.
He deserves the appointment because of his technical prowess and transparency. He carries everybody along in his dealings, he is detribalise and adept with knowledge of football technicalities and administration.
The Nigerian Football Federation has made the right choice and need to be commended. May the tenure of the new Technical Director bring good tidings to Nigerian football.
