Following the conduct of the Federal Capital Territory Area Council polls, when ThisNigeria visited some units AMAC as at 10:30 am someone polling units have not recorded a single voter in some of the units most especially in Oronzo,
In the same vein, in some of the units in many of the areas, they were deserted and you could see the election officials taking a rest and selfie among themselves.
The Presiding officer in unit 14 Oronzo, said some of the voters went to the farm and not until they returned before they know what to do.
But in Karshi inward OO1, where the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate Murtala Karshi voted, the unit had a mass turn as voters were seen queuing for accreditation while they vote at the same time.
Addressing journalists shortly after casting his vote, the APC candidate said he was happy that he has been able to vote but expressed disappointment at the slow process of accreditation.
“I am happy that I can vote. But the challenge I am disappointed that the accreditation process and Voting are slow. The BVAS machines are not working as expected”.
Also, in O84, 012, O13 in Karu ward and others no single ward was seen voting as of 11 am.
