
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted the National Campaign Council for the Feb. 12, Area Council Elections in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.
The PDP National Organising Secretary, Umar Bature, announced the members of the party’s council in Abuja on Friday.
He said that Gov. Samuel Ortom of Benue would chair the campaign Council while Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State would serve as Secretary.
Bature also listed Gov. Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto, Gov. Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Gov. Nyesom Wike of Rivers, and Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu as members of the campaign Council.
He listed some of the other members as Sen. Walid Jibrin, Sen. David Mark, Sen. Bukola Saraki, Sen. Enyinnaya Abaribe, Ibrahim Idris , Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, Sen. Philip Aduda, and Sen. Uche Ekwunife.

Also among the members are Prof. Jerry Gana, Hajiya Mrs. Zainab Maina, Sen. Gabriel Suswam, Hon. Magaret Icheen, and Sen. Zainab Kure.
Bature said that the Directorate of Organisation and Mobilisation (DOM) would provide Secretariat for the Campaign Council.
He urged all aspirants, members of the Party and its teeming supporters in the FCT to remain focused and continue to work hard as the PDP marches to victory in the elections
