Two lecturers of the Imo State University (IMSU) have been suspending by the school’s management for raping female students.
The two lecturers, a professor and a Ph.D. holder who also doubles as the Head of Department, were identified from a video of the rape incident that went viral last weekend.
The video caught the Ph.D. holder raping a female student, as the professor was masturbating after he had finished raping another student. They are to face a panel that has been set up by the school. Members of the panel remain nameless at the moment until their investigation is complete and they have submitted their reports.
Both lecturers face a fourteen-year jail term, which is stipulated by the recent legislation of the National Assembly.
