Noting that the trend where security agents only operated in urban centres and highways, the fight against banditry would never be successful.

He stressed that, the fight to be successful, the security agents had to change tactics and be ready to engage the bandits at their various camps.

“We all know what is happening, and where it’s happening, but a situation where security agents only operate at pere-pere level, our people would continue to suffer attacks, the federal government ought to force the security agents to ransack camps of the bandits as a demonstration of seriousness”, he added.

The monarch also tasked the state and federal government on the plight of displaced persons roaming the streets.

He acknowledged multiple presence of security agents but without impact, bandits operate freely on daily basis.
