FG mobilises Nigerians to vote for Miss Nigeria in final

The Federal Government has called on Nigerians to rally behind Miss Nigeria, Tamuno Soye, as she heads into the final stage of the Miss World beauty pageant in Vietnam.
The Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, urged Nigerians to support Soye with their votes, prayers and encouragement as she seeks to bring the Miss World crown to Nigeria.
In a goodwill message to the contestant on Friday, Musawa described Soye as a source of national pride, noting that she had already won the Africa’s Top Model title and was performing strongly in other categories of the competition.
The minister said the final stage provided an opportunity for Nigerians to unite behind their representative and demonstrate their support for her international campaign.
“Dear Nigerians, this is a moment for us to stand as one,” Musawa said.
“Our daughter, Miss Nigeria, TamunoSoye, is proudly carrying our flag at the Miss World competition in Vietnam—and she is doing us proud!”
She urged Nigerians to take advantage of the remaining voting period, saying every vote could contribute to Soye’s chances in the competition.
“Voting is closing soon. She needs our prayers, our encouragement, and every vote she can get,” the minister said.
Musawa also called on Nigerians to share information about the voting process and mobilise their families, friends and communities to support the contestant.
“Please follow the voting information on your screen. Vote for Soye. Share the message. Mobilise your family, friends and communities,” she said.
The minister commended Soye for her performance and representation of Nigeria on the international stage, describing her as an ambassador of the country’s beauty, culture and talent.
“Soye, Nigeria is proud of you. You have represented us with grace, beauty and excellence,” Musawa said.
She urged the contestant to approach the final with confidence, assuring her that Nigerians were behind her.
“Go into that final knowing this: the entire nation stands with you.
“Go, Soye. God’s speed as you bring that crown home,” the minister added.
