“I recall your first moments here and how you were unsure of what to make out of the service year. How it seemed like an unattainable feat at the time. Today, as we count down to your last few minutes as corps members, I see in the countenance on your faces and the joyful atmosphere here, a sense of fulfillment at being able to conclude this important phase of your lives. Once more, accept our congratulations” she said.
She urged them to realize that their certificate of National Service was not a guarantee that jobs would be running into their waiting arms.
The coordinator charged them to bring to bear all the lessons learned during the service year, especially the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship training as reliable means to self-actualization.
Baberinnwa advised the corps members to “Eschew fraudulent acts, get- rich- quick schemes and other forms of corruption”
