Former lawmaker, Nwogu harps on purposeful reengineering of Nigeria’s Aerospace sector

Newly appointed Council member of the African Aviation and Aerospace University, Honourable Chidi Nwogu has harped on the need for purposeful reengineering of the sector.

Honourable Nwogu made the call at the inauguration of the Governing Councils and Board Members of Universities and parastatals under the Federal Ministry of Education held on Tuesday July 1, 2025 in Abuja.

The Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa oversaw the inauguration at the Podium conference hall of the Ministry of Education with several dignitaries and government functionaries especially within the Educational sector as well as friends and family members of the appointees in attendence.

Also inaugurated in the boards were a one-time Nigerian Chief of Naval staff Vice Admiral Victor Ombu and former governor of Nasarawa State, Tanko Al Makura, who will serve as UBEC chairman.

Speaking with the press after the inauguration, Hon. Nwogu, a former member of the House of Representatives and.a thorough bred Aviation stakeholder noted that Aviation and Aerospace sector is huge sector that deserves huge attention of iniatives in line with renew hope agenda of the federal government.
