Former minority leader, House of Reps, Hon Samson Osagie receives Leadership Award

In recognition of his sterling leadership qualities, his unwavering commitment to the cause of the downtrodden, for his grassroots inclination and for his role in giving direction and inspiration to the youths among others,  former minority whip of the House of Representatives, Rt.Hon.Samson Raphael Osagie,  has been bestowed with the Most Outstanding Personality of the Year Award by the Presidency, Youth Advancement Intiative (YAI)

In an address before the award presentation, President of the of the group, Ambassador Ade Mario Emmanuel while extolling the outstanding contributions of Hon. Samson Osagie to youth development,  noted that Hon. Osagie was indeed one of the leaders to be reckoned with by the Nigerian Youths “for he is a mentor, an advocate for the masses, a teacher and a progressive who has made tremendous impact on so many youths across the country.”

Responding, Hon. Osagie said even though he is not an award -driven person but sometimes, you cannot afford to overlook what people perceive about you.

He reaffirmed his patriotism and committment to nation building.

In his words: “My passion is for community services, my passion is for positive contribution to national development and my passion is to make impact on the lives of people within the limits of my power and within the limits of my resources”
He expressed his profound thanks and continuous gratitude to the good people of Uhunwonde ans Orhionmwon federal constituency for giving him the mandate and opportunity to represent them for Eight(8) years, and to Uhunmwode local government for the opportunity to represent them at the State House of Assembly for Eight(8)years.

He then wholeheartedly dedicated the award to his federal constituency he represented while serving at the National Assembly.
