The Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency, PPPRA, yesterday, fixed the fuel pump price of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, also known as petrol, at N212.61 per litre, for the month of March.

But as at this Friday morning the PPPRA has pulled down the template for the new price.

The new price which was released and pulled down is expected to be for from March 2021.

The PPPRA  on it’s website said “PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT PUBLISHED PRICES ARE ONLY INDICATIVE OF CURRENT MARKET TRENDS,”

But the template PPPRA published on Thursday night, indicated that PMS should be sold between the price of  N209.61 and N212.61.

Omojuwa @Omojuwa said that: This conundrum is a design; global oil prices go up, Nigeria’s FX revenue automatically increases due to its oil sales, but on the flip side of that coin, Nigeria’s petrol imports price increase due to the same effect. Because refining oil locally is rocket science #FuelPriceHike
