Governor Soludo loses father

The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo, has lost his father, Pa Simeon Nwankwo Soludo, (Ichie Akukananwa 1).

A statement by the Press Secretary to the governor, Mr Christian Aburime to newsmen in Awka the state capital said PA Soludo died in the early hours of Monday.

He died at the age of 92 yeara at his Isuofia country home in Aguata local government area of the state.

According to the statement, Pa Soludo is survived by seven sons, eight daughters-in-law, twenty-two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Governor Soludo noted that his late father lived a fulfilled life and died at the ripe age of 92 years.

The statement added that further information on the demise of the patriach would be communicated to the public in due course.
