Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ahoada West in Rivers State, Onisojin Chuks Festus, has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Festus’ defection comes days before the governorship election scheduled to hold on March 18th.
The former APC member had met with the State Governor, Nyesom Wike, making his defection official.

Speaking on his move, Festus described the APC as a “fragmented party”
He stated further that the party stood no chance in the March 18th gubernatorial election in the state.
