Happie Boys deported from Cyprus

Social media sensations and dancers, Mathew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson, also known as Happie Boys, have been deported to Nigeria from Cyprus.

It was gathered that the duo had been in the custody of the Cypriot police for over a month following their arrest for an alleged involvement in fraud.

Recall that Happie Boys had travelled to Cyprus in 2022 on a scholarship sponsored by Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the founder of Omega Power Ministries.

However, things went sour for them when they reportedly fell out with Apostle Chinyere over their lifestyle and activities in Cyprus.

They were accused of engaging in fraudulent acts and living beyond their means.

They were also said to have violated their student visa conditions and lost their residence permit.

Media personality, Bolanle Cole confirmed their arrival on his Instagram page and said they are currently staying at a hotel in Utako, Abuja.
