A unknown hit and run Driver has reportedly crushed a Cyclist along Ikare-Ugbe-Akunu road in Ondo state.
The motorcyclist, Dele Aro is presently unconscious in a private hospital in Ikare after sustaining serious injuries.
The vehicle, a J5 commercial bus loaded with palm oil, banana and fruits took off from Akungba-Akoko going to the Northern part of the country when the incident occurred.
Immediately the driver hit the victim, he was said to have immediately left the scene,but some motorcyclists reportedly pursued him up to the neighboring Akunu-Akoko community, where he jumped out and ran into the bush.

His vehicle was however retrieved and brought to Ikare Akoko Police Headquarters.
The Divisional Police Officer(DPO) for Ikare, Superintendent of Police, Akindutire Akinwande confirmed the incident, saying the driver was still at large.
