Hold Ododo, Bello, Akpabio responsible if anything happens to me – Sen Natasha

The lawmaker representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has claimed that if violence erupts at the venue of her Sallah celebrations with her fans today, Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, former governor of the state, Yahaya Bello and Senate President Godswill Akpabio should be held responsible.

Recall that Ododo, in a statement on Monday, the Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo, banned rallies and public gatherings in the state over ‘security reports’.

The state government stated that intelligence reports indicated that some persons were planning to “stage some violent rallies in the guise of political and religious agitations” in Kogi Central.

The development comes amid the homecoming ceremony of the suspended lawmaker representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, scheduled for today.

Reacting to the government’s order, Akpoti-Uduaghan wrote on Facebook on Tuesday, “My dear people of Kogi Central, I look forward to our PEACEFUL Sallah celebrations today. However, should we be met with or infiltrated by violence, Nigerians should hold Gov Òdodo, Yahaya Bello & SP Godswill Akpabio wholly responsible”.
