The House of Representatives Ad-Hoc Committee on Rivers State Oversight has postponed its scheduled interactive session with the Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (rtd.), following a formal request for rescheduling.
The session was initially slated to be held by 4 pm on April 17, 2025, but will now be reconvened at a later date to be announced soon.
In a brief statement, the committee said it had acknowledged the Sole Administrator’s request and was working to set a new date for the engagement.
In a statement signed by Akin Rotimi Jr., the House of Representatives’ official spokesman, the Committee assured the public of its commitment to transparent and effective oversight.
It added that the public would be promptly informed once a new date is confirmed.
The interactive session is part of the Committee’s ongoing efforts to assess governance issues and administrative developments in Rivers State.
