A lady, Tope Samuel, has narrated how she was abandoned with a two-year-old baby by Chinese lover in Ogun State.
In an interview with Punch, she said the relationship was smooth until she got pregnant and gave birth.
She said, “The relationship started when I went to work in the company, he approached me that he liked me. I told him I was interested too, we started dating. after a while, I became pregnant. He first denied the pregnancy, and later promised that if the baby resembled him after delivery, he would claim responsibility. My family then took responsibility for the pregnancy.
“Almost a month after the child was delivered, he started to misbehave. We had to fight before he fed me. Everyone became aware when he gave me money for food as well.
“The child resembles him and he accept to take responsibility. We then handed his wife over to him, we do not want complications over the care of the baby. We believe he would be able to provide adequate care for the baby seeing as he’s not black.
“My baby’s name is Samoa David, I do not know the father’s name. We dated for about two years and he never told me where he’s from. He then asked that I sell the child to him. I made it clear to him that we don’t sell child here in Nigeria. He told me they sell where he hails from.

“After a while, the wife called me to complain about her living condition, I told her to come over to my end. So I asked the husband, how would you feed the baby seeing as the company has dismissed your wife and she has no job. He refused to reason along, we then decided to charge him to court
“He promised to give the 10,000 every month for the upkeep of the baby. His lawyer also promised to give 5,000 every month.”
