Former president Olusegun Obasanjo has said that if Nigerians want the current situation in the country changed, the leadership of the country has to change too.
Obasanjo disclosed this during a visit by veteran singer and entertainer, Charly Boy to his residence on Friday in Abeokuta.
The former president stated that he is the father of frustrated Nigerians , adding that Nigerians being poor and frustrated is not the fault of God but the choice of the leaders.
He said” if you are president of frustrated Nigerian youth, I am their father.
“if we are going to change our situation we have to change leadership and there is nobody who would do it other than the Youth.
“If you have a baby with a robust waist, you won’t take bead and put on the waist of another person’s child.
Wike will be president one day – Professor Gana
“I say to people that my own baby is Nigeria with the robust waist and that is the one I want to put beautiful beads on , not on any individual who I know will not achieve what they promised to achieve.
“In the North they say,’la mu la muni’, the South-West say ‘tiwa n tiwa’ while the South-East say, ‘Nka but nka anyi’. Now, that is not the issue, the issue is Nigeria”.
