An Abuja-based crossdresser, identified as Abuja Area Mama has narrated how he started his gay lifestyle at age 10.
The crossdresser, who said he has never been sexually intimate with women, said he started sleeping with fellow men at Gwagwa in Abuja at the age of 10.
Abuja Area Mama, however, highlighted some of the dangers attached to prostitution, especially for a gay prostitute like him.
He said, “On a good business day, I have close to 10 customers in a night, it is strenuous though, when I get home, I take medication.

“Some of my customers initially think I’m a lady and when we get to their hotel room and they discover I’m a man, some of them continue with the sex while others ask me to leave.
“It’s not easy to stop prostitution, the spirit behind it is so strong. I’ve been imprisoned more than five times while dragging money with my customers. In my line of business, I’ve met ritualists thrice but I still can’t stop it.”
Speaking on the issue of marriage, the crossdresser said, “I’ve not seen a man who is good enough to marry me to make me retire from prostitution. I’m thinking of going for surgery to enlarge my boobs.”
