The Governor-elect of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu, has been advised to make the people center point of his administration when sworn into office on May 29.
An Abuja based business mogul, Emeng Anthony, gave the advice in a congratulatory message to the governor-elect.
Emeng advised Otu to adopt bottom-top approach for the impact of his government to be felt by the people at the grassroot level.
Emeng who called on Otu to be magnanimous in victory, said the ultimate victor of the March 18 poll were the people who conducted themselves peacefully by ensuring that peace reign in the state before, during and after the election.
He posited that it was now the turn of the governor-elect to reciprocate by enthroning good governance.
“Otu’s election was a clear demonstration of the people’s confidence and collective resolve to enthrone a “season of sweetness” in the state.
“I am optimistic that Sen. Otu’s administration would give the people a new lease of life while meeting their earnest dreams, aspirations and expectations.
