Nigerian multi-talented and fast-rising trap/gospel rapper Samex McIntyre Ameh, who is an American Nigerian born (born 28 May 2003) professionally known as $AM£X has been up and good to go working with A-list artists, in an interview with Quadri Akanbi. He speaks about how he goes into a trance to get inspiration and he also talks about the best pieces of advice he got from his colleague Dominique Armani Jones, known professionally as Lil Baby American rapper.

Who’s your ideal musician to collaborate with and why?
Tayk, Kodak Black, and Travis Scott Yeah because they are all trap rappers and topping the billboards making lovely hit songs.
What’s the best piece of advice another musician ever gave you?
Go hard each time you’ve to gat the mic, Lil Baby told me this at a concert in 2017.
Which qualities do you think to make a great musician?
Making hit songs and sending meaningful messages through music, because music is way more than just singing it’s a way of life.
What’s your day like as an artist?
Glee. Just Been gleefully knowing have to gat the fire the world needs.
Which instrument is your favorite to play and why?
Drum and guitar because am a trap star
What is the most embarrassing experience you have had?
I Was caught at the seaport trying to smuggle drugs into Spain, I felt bad and it was really awful
What is your memorable experience as an artist?
My friends and family were weirdly surprised to see me live on Tv because they never knew I could be seen for the first time.
When did you start music as a career?
Started my career at the age of 12 making ciphers playing drums in clubs and churches
How many songs/albums have you produced so far?
An EP with a total of 4 songs and I’m hoping to make some drop-top soon
What is your source of inspiration?
spiritual and heavenly like I go into trances and when I’m back from the trance I get those lyrics and words to put together and due to the gospel side of my music, I got words of truth from the Bible because at one point I had a revelation about hell and so many awful things.
Any new project From you?
Yeah, I am dropping my first-ever project this August 2022 and it’s gonna be lit because I am making trap gospel music and emo trap altogether.
