“It happened just close to me as I was boarding a vehicle this morning to go to Nnewi.”
Though there have been cult related killings in Awka since the Easter period, it was not clear if Thursday morning’s incident was related to cultism.
This is coming a few hours after another person was murdered by rampaging gunmen at Aroma junction on Wednesday evening.
The Anambra State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga was yet to react to the killing as of the time of filing this report.
