A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Bode George has described the 2023 Presidential ambition of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, as an insult to Nigerians.
George said this while speaking on an Arise News programme monitored by THIS NIGERIA.
The PDP chieftain stated further that Tinubu should be questioned about his achievements while he was the Governor of Lagos state.
“The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) need to go after Tinubu urgently. The Alpha Beta company owned by him needs to be investigated. He has not paid any tax since he founded the company. I have been reliably told that the company made over N30bn in 2020. If that money was available, it will go a long way in reducing the suffering of the people.
“EFCC boss, AbdulRasheed Bawa needs to save his generation by going after Tinubu. His junketing over the place is an insult to Nigerians who work so hard. Now the Lagos State Government just set up an agency to fight corruption by itself. It has asked people not to go to the EFCC again. That is nonsense,” he said.
George said further that he would cease to be a Nigerian if Tinubu wins the 2023 Presidential election.

“His presidential ambition is an insult to civilised Nigerians. We have documents to back up everything I have accused him of. The former Managing Director of Alpha Beta also said the same thing, that Tinubu keeps emptying Lagos state Treasury. Let him take me to court. We will both talk under oath. Enough is enough” he said.
Bode George also lamented the spate of killings in the country and said that President Muhammadu Buhari needed to be told the truth.
“Buhari needs to be told the truth. The Lai Mohammed that keeps lying and the Femi Adesinas of this nation need to bring Buhari back to reality because he seems dissociated from it. The country is bleeding and something needs to be done about it.”
