National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Iyorchia Ayu, yesterday, held a closed-door meeting with former military head of state, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) at his residence in Minna, Niger State.

Ayu flew into Minna by air at about 1:00 pm.

He was accompanied by a former governor of Niger State and a member of the PDP Board of Trustees (BoT), Dr Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu.

Also in the delegation were the state PDP chairman, Tanko Beji; a former senator from Kogi State, Dino Melaye; former Minister of Information, Prof Jerry Gana, and some top state executive members of the party.

The delegation also included former senator Zaynab Kure, and an unnamed former minister of internal affairs.
