Veteran Nigerian singer Oladapo Oyebanji popularly known as D’banj has been arrested by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission over alleged fraud.

According to reports, the singer was forcefully arrested by the ICPC at the agency’s headquarters in Abuja.

The singer’s forceful arrest is coming after weeks of him dodging summons by the agency for interrogations over his alleged involvement in the diversion of  N-POWER funds worth over N100m.

According to them, D’banj colluded with some government officials to introduce ghost beneficiaries into the payroll of the scheme N-Power project and the money was allegedly paid to an  accounts which has been linked to the singer.
